Wen-Haw (Cody) GerI recently graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have completed two six-months and two two-months internship through Northeastern University's co-op program.
I would describe myself as someone that is self-driven, curious, open and loves new challenges. Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, I love experiencing different cultures, outdoors, travelling and helping people. I hope to one day use my skills as an engineer to help others. I pursued a mechanical engineering degree because it allows me to think logically and sensibly to tackle real life problems. It allowed me to have the ability to design and create tangible products that will have an impact on not only my life, but also others as well. My work experiences so far revolves around mechanical design, testing and prototyping. The most important lessons I had taken away from these invaluable opportunities was honest communication, the mindset to always learn, and always looking at the bigger picture - ultimately what the end user wants. I enjoy and thrive under new challenges and pressures and am not afraid to fail. I truly believe that failure is the greatest teacher and will only help me more than it hurts me. Learning from my mistakes will only force me to become a better mechanical engineer and person. |
